On the next occasion of the lecture series, you can get an insight into the world of the owl species breeding at Lake Balaton.
In Hungary, 9-10 species of owls occur every year, of which 6 species regularly nest at Lake Balaton. Among them, one of the most popular, easy-to-observe, is the short-eared owl, chosen as the bird of the year 2020.
Which owl species can we meet at Lake Balaton? What is worth knowing about them? What can we do for them?
Among other things, you can get answers to these questions from the lecture of Georgina Kovács, which you can listen to on 24.02.2020 at 18.00 at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center in Siófok.
