Fire a ship under construction in Balatonvilágos

Fire started in a ship under construction Thursday morning Balatonvilágos - Somogy County Disaster Management Office head told MTI.

According to Sándor Török, an eight-meter electric boat caught fire in a shipbuilding plant on Erdősor út in Balatonvilágos.
He added: in order to avoid further damage, the workers took the ship out of the plant and started extinguishing the fire even before the firefighters arrived.
The fire was finally extinguished by professional firefighters from Siófok who arrived at the scene with three cars; the ambulance took one person to the hospital for examination.
