The party starts in the cool summer evening !: waterfront concert series
Szombaton indul a 15. Mozdulj, Balaton! szabadidősport programsorozat, melynek keretében 34 település 37 strandján várják a sportolni vágyókat. A szervezők csütörtöki tájékoztatása szerint idén 17 Veszprém, 4 Zala és 16 Somogy megyei helyszín kapcsolódott be a programba, a strandokon augusztus 18-ig minden szombat délután, valamint további két, szabadon választott napon szervezett, ingyenes sportprogramokon vehetnek részt az érdeklődők. Balatonfüred, Balatonszárszó és Balatonszemes ezúttal is két-két stranddal vesz részt a lebonyolításban.Bartsch János programigazgató elmondta: a strandokon lévő sporteszközök pótlását, illetve fejlesztését minden évben támogatásokból biztosítják. Idén az Emmi sportért felelős államtitkársága hatmillió, a Balaton Fejlesztési Tanács pedig ötmillió forinttal járult ehhez hozzá. Ebből egyebek között három újabb strandra kerülhet teqball- és nyolcra vandálbiztos kültéri pingpongasztal. Az önkormányzatok saját beszerzéseivel együtt idén már kilenc balatoni strandon várják a mozogni vágyókat teqball-, és mintegy 30 helyen pingpongasztallal. A részt vevő települési önkormányzatok 3,7 millió forinttal támogatják a programsorozatot; ezt az összeget a helyi szervezők díjazására fordítják.
