Saturday Balatonfüred International Guitar Festival begins
Balatonfüred International Guitar Festival, renowned artists perform concerts every evening during the week-long event. During the day, a sheet music exhibition and a music fair await those interested, as well as public master classes, the artistic director of the festival informed MTI.
Guitarist József Eötvös said that the audience can listen to the evening concerts at three locations in the city. On the first day of the festival, Italian guitarist Adriano Del Sal will give a concert on the stage of the Kisfaludy Gallery, the next day a Spanish-Greek couple, members of Duo Melis, Susana Prieto and Alexis Muzurakis will take the stage of the Vaszary Gallery. On Monday evening, the audience can hear a Polish duo, Jan Jakub Bokun clarinetist and guitarist Jakub Kosciuszko, on the stage of the Kisfaludy Gallery.
Those interested can listen to the concert of Chinese musician Ju Vu on Tuesday, who was the winner of the Vienna Forum Gitarre International Guitar Competition last year. The next day, at an evening of exceptionally talented young Hungarians supported by the Eötvös Music Foundation, Janka Csiki, Márton Girincsi, Beatrix Kovács, 
The productions of Margaréta Lakner, Tamás Nagy, Lotti Szalai and Máté Tokárszky can be heard. Ukrainian guitarist Marko Topchy will take the stage on Thursday, and the following day Spanish guitarist José Maria Gallardo del Rey will perform. On the closing day of the festival, the artistic director of the festival, József Eötvös, will take the stage with his chamber partner, bassist Péter Kubina, and the festival's guitar band, led by teacher Erika Czakó, will perform in the Evangelical church in Balatonfüred. In the morning, public master classes and a music fair will be held at the János Ferencsik Music School, added the artistic director of the festival.
